This is a testament to the fact that you can still get great photos even when the weather isn’t that great. I love how the driver of the car who was a family friend of the Clare and James was so helpful and polite in helping us out, but secretly I think he thought I was crazy. The things we would do for our art.
I would never have got the beautiful photo of the car with Clare and James outside the town hall with its spectacular reflections if it wasn’t a rainy day.
As it turned out Clare’s mum and I did and art and design course together when I was fresh out of high school. She didn’t know it was me that she was visiting with Clare and James on the very first meeting and it was so nice to see her again. I loved even more seeing her beautiful floral paintings in progress in her home when we were photographing the wedding.
Clare and James wedding was in November 2009.
