For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a camera in hand.

My business, Gingerhouse Photography, was born at a time when my life was becoming more and more enriched with moments and milestones that needed to be captured.

In my 14 year career as a photographer, I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to get to know so many new people and build long term relationships.

It’s very exciting to be a part of each family’s life for a short period of time and be able to capture their family story.

For some, it might begin with your engagement session where you are giddy with love and excitement. Then onto your wedding which culminates to the most romantic day of your life.

The path continues to your maternity session as you eagerly await your little bundle of joy to arrive, or a newborn session where you are spellbound by the beauty of the baby you have created together.

I am very nostalgic and value the opportunity to capture those special moments that you, as well as future generations, will cherish for a life time.

The circle of love and life continues as you have your own family portraits capturing new beginnings, first steps, birthdays, school, debutante balls.

With a family of my own, I treasure the milestones we’ve captured on film (albeit digital), and I know my daughters will treasure those photos more and more as they grow older and have families of their own.

For others, we may meet when you launch a business or new product which is much like having a baby; lots of late nights and early mornings, and an emotional rollercoaster.

I am really proud of my photography. I work tirelessly to get the right angle, the best light, or maybe the perfect smile that you can see in your eyes. There is joy for me in that, and you get the value of that extra service I provide when you see the final gallery.

And… I really do enjoy having a laugh along the way.
