We have had a number of sessions now with Michelle covering family portraits, maternity and our most recent new born and we could not recommend her highly enough. The final images are treasured memories, high quality digital files provided to us in both colour and black and white versions. It is what you expect when you engage a professional photographer but what makes Michelle stand out is her ability to work with all age groups, especially toddlers, her use of natural light and outdoor locations and her ability to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. Michelle has always been on time and our sessions have never felt rushed. We intend on using Michelle over the coming years to capture our kids progression and update our family portraits just because we love what she does and how she goes about it.

I first met Michelle when I had my first child (Jack’s) newborn photo shoot. I had her recommended to me by another local professional photographer and loved the look of her work online. From our initial phone conversation she put my ‘new mum’ anxious mind at ease, and organizing the session was a breeze.
Michelle came to our home bringing a beautiful selection of props for the shoot, and set everything up with no fuss. It just so happened that my little ‘angel’ decided to pick that exact day to come out of his newborn drowsy phase and NOT sleep. Hours went by while I tried everything in my limited arsenal to settle him! I was horrified, but Michelle was so patient, easy-going and understanding. And it seemed we really got to know each other in that time!!
Finally, Jack conceded defeat and Michelle managed to get some absolutely amazing shots in the time we had left. We couldn’t have been happier with the end result – she perfectly captured our little boy and his true nature. The package I received with the photos on disc, and thank-you cards we had ordered, was so beautifully presented. We had many comments from family and friends on the quality of her work.
After the qualities she demonstrated at Jack’s newborn shoot, I had to have Michelle do our wedding photography. The fact that she really listened to what we wanted, and her relaxed and easy manner helped make our wedding everything we hoped it would be.
Michelle worked really hard to ensure that she captured the real spirit of our day, and focused on what was important to us. She managed to keep us all to time across the various locations, and made so many wonderful shots happen, all whilst staying (at least outwardly) happy and calm! Again, we couldn’t have been happier with the photos. Such a huge variety, amazing quality, and near impossible to choose a favourite!
Less than a year later, Michelle also did the newborn shoot for our second son, Xavier. There was no question as to who we were going to get to do his photos!! I love that Jack and Xav’s photos are similar, yet different – it really showcases their different personalities and physical attributes. Thankfully, Xavier settled a little more quickly than his brother, and again Michelle provided us with some absolutely beautiful images and memories of this phase in our lives.
I really look forward to having Michelle do more family photos for us in the future. It has been a pleasure to have her document our most important moments, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her as a person and a professional.

I first saw Michelle close to 6 years ago for maternity photos with my first baby. Over that time I have had numerous photo shoots with her for newborn, family and further maternity photos.
